Captain Dave Beezer used my special black net to scoop up a load of these krill (Thysanoessa spinifera) in the Santa Barbara Channel on the 4th of July, 2009. His second job is being a "hand model" and holding a batch of the krill for the camera. Thanks, Dave! and thanks, also, to Captain Mat Curto who navigated the Condor Express into position on the krill so it could be netted.
