We drove most of the roads in search of ibis which had been mentioned on social media. The young rice fields and irrigation levees did have lots of them, also the greenery near the roadway. Some walked around on the dirt roadway in trios or quartets.

Also present were both snowy and great egrets and great blue herons. A lone red-tailed hawk was seen on a tree branch buried in surrounding foliage.
