First El Niño Swells: 2015 12-08 & 12-11 Ventura
El Niño storms have been pounding central and norCal this week. The effects here in soCal have been a medium swell with little wind that rolled through on 12-08, and then a large storm surf event that peaked here on 12-11. Aerial vantage points were used both days, as well as on the beach perspectives. At high tide the Ventura Pier was hammered on 12-11, and pieces of pier pile and cross beams were photographed in the water and on the beach as waves did their damage.
