Boca grande. Looking inside the lower jaw as the mouth is wide open and the whale is lunge feeding on the orange/red krill that you can see here on the surface. The upper jaw, with its baleen, is under the water.
A patch of krill (Thysanoessa spinifera) is seen popping off the surface as a mighty Blue Whale lunge feeds from beneath. The whale is upside down, belly to the left and upper jaw open wide to the right.
